ONE FLIGHT BECAME HIS LIFE

Tedd discovered flying during COVID after walking into a flight school and signing up for an introductory flight. He had no background in aviation, but what started almost on impulse gradually became a major part of his life.

Six years later, he flies both planes and helicopters and is building flight time toward his commercial helicopter license.

We joined him for a helicopter flight from Santa Monica along the Southern California coast, spending time with him in the air and around the airport to understand what keeps bringing him back.

A portrait of someone whose life has slowly taken shape around something he never planned to pursue.
